Clam Command Post THERMAL - 6 Man ice fishing shelter

Clam's pop-up ice fishing tents have have become the fisherman's mainstay when it comes to roominess, easy set-up and affordable price. This is a BIG tent. You could almost park a Chevy S10 pick up in one so heating it is more of a challenge. If increase weight is not a big issue, you get the Command Post Thermal and heat more with less. Being that it's the THERMAL unit means that it won't have a black-out so more light gets through. So, if you gotta see down the holes, a thermal tent is NOT going to do the job. If you want to stay warmer by about 20%, then this pop-up will meet your needs. Great tent for families, 6 guys and the like. Heck you can play catch and do it in a warmer surrounding. Made just like all of the other Clam pop-ups with heavy duty everything. Now, that doesn't mean you won't have problems, but that's why they make warranties - give Clam's warranty department and they'll get you squared away.

This is a HUGE tent with two doors and it's a little bigger than the Eskimo Quick Fish 6. It opens up quickly to make one 6' X 12' room at the base. You could fish on one end and have tip-ups on the other end so you wouldn't have to put on your parka when you have to run to grab your tip-up.

All Clam Pop-ups come with reinforced shaft collars on their poles at the hubs for longer wear, beefy ice anchors, tie-down cords, & carry bag. They no longer have grommets in the corner flaps. Tie them down from the hubs - which is easier anyway or use the interior straps with grommets. Just slip screw inthe anchors inside and slip the grommet on the end of the straps (on the walls near bottom of tent in corners) over the end of the anchor handles. Shovel or kick snow around the outside flaps to block out the wind.
